SYNOPSIS
We're The Kids In America is one of 15 screenplays internationally that has been accepted to Cinfondation's L'atelier at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. The screenplay is a triptych based on three generations of Irish fathers and sons. The story is set in Ireland during Easter Week in 1957, on Halloween Day in 1984 and in New York City on Christmas Eve in 2016.
Eggs And Soldiers is a short film based the feature screenplay We're The Kids In America. It has screened internationally at 50 film festivals to date. Link to trailer.

We're The Kids In America is a feature screenplay written by the writer/director Imelda O'Reilly. It is being produced by Barbara DeFina. The film will be shot in studio and on location in Ireland and New York City by cinematographer Joe Foley.
